We are happy to announce our merger with
Fidelity Financial Services, Inc in Kenai  

July 12, 2019

Aurora Taxes & Accounting, LLC is pleased to announce the merger of our firm with Fidelity Financial Services, Inc. With this merger we will be able to offer a broader range of professional tax and financial services to our clients. We believe this merger will help our clients minimize their tax burden and maximize their financial success.  Combining our firms will significantly enhance our expertise and everyone will benefit.

Fidelity Financial Services, Inc., President David Demars, MBA, CFP®, CLU, ChFC has over 20 years’ experience in the financial sector. Brittany Briggs, Vice President, has over 15 years in the tax preparation business. Emily Seiffert, a QuickBooks ProAdvisor, will be assisting with bookkeeping and payroll. Fidelity Financial Services, Inc has offices in Kenai and Spokane, WA. 

Kathy & Cyndey are thrilled that we are able to form this new venture. We are sure you, as our valued client, will be happy with the continued professionalism and enhanced expertise. Juley McConnell will also be joining the firm.

The office in Anchor Point will be transitioning to the Fidelity Financial Services, Inc., office in Kenai. The phone number, fax and email for Aurora Taxes will remain the same. Kathy, Cyndey & Juley will be joining the firm in Kenai and working remotely from Anchor Point. During the transition the Anchor Point office will remain open. We anticipate the transition to be complete by October 15th. At that time the Anchor Point office will close.

The merger will also allow Kathy to spend more time with her father, who is in the advanced stages of dementia.

Introducing David Demars and Fidelity Financial Services Inc. 

Dear Aurora Taxes & Accounting LLC Clients,

My name is David Demars and I am the president of Fidelity Financial Services, Inc. Earlier this year, Kathy Toms expressed an interest in merging her practice with my own. As we discussed this opportunity and the added benefits this merger would present to clients, I was impressed with her work ethic and, most importantly, her determination to ensure her clients receive the best service possible. 

I am looking forward to working with Kathy Toms and her Anchor Point team as we move forward with merging our offices. Together, we want to ensure this venture offers clients with broader services offerings and to be a betterment to our community. 

To share a little about myself, I am a Certified Financial Planner CFP®, a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), and a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC). I also have an MBA in Finance and have been an adjunct professor at the university level for several years teaching Finance.  My business experience spans back over 20 years and my wife and I are parents to 7 children.   My focus is comprehensive investment advice.  This involves not just the return on your investment but also the taxes, the retirement needs, the estate planning needs and the risk versus the return on the investment.  Our intention is help you retire and stay retired.  I love doing what I do and helping people.
